Trina Chakrabarti (she/her) MA, RP(Qualifying), MTA, is a registered music therapist, and singer/songwriter based in Ontario, Canada. Her music is a genre bending exploration of personal trauma, that examines the world we live in through a social justice lens. As a Desi, Queer, and Disabled woman Trina believes that art has the power to create meaningful change, and is a strong supporter of artistic advocacy through storytelling. My latest single "Take A Stance" is available everywhere. Proceeds are being donated to my friend's family in Palestine.Â
This release is incredibly different in genre than my debut EP, and that is intentional. I wanted this song to be more stripped down, and really have the lyrics shine. Just like I want to embrace the anger of my personal experiences, I believe in embracing the anger from world issues.
